We've had a lovely week away but it was nice to get home this afternoon. I have to confess I've missed having internet access for the last week even though it was nice to have a break from it all! We were really unlucky with the weather - let me tell you spending your days sitting by a lake in the middle of nowhere may be fun when the sun is shining but when you spend the whole week with nothing but rain, snow & hail stones you get cold very quickly!
Ant enjoyed himself fishing but I didn't get as much reading done as I expected to - it's hard to hold a book when you can't feel your fingers LOL. I did read 5 books though & will get reviews posted over the next few days:

We had a lovely villa with a really comfy four poster bed & I loved the wirlpool bath which was great to warm up in when we got home. We also got to make friends with the donkeys who lived in the field just outside our door - they were very friendly!
As you know Thursday was my birthday so we spent the day in Torquay. I had fun spending money in the bookshops & then got my new tattoo done. I'm really pleased with how well it turned out - this picture was taken just after it had been finished so I'll try to get a better one in a few days when it has had time to heal.

you know i had the same problem with my reading lol...i read three books on the first day...then am still on the fourth one now lol...
oh well, its more than what i would have got done had i been home.
Thanks Amanda - I'm glad you like it :o) Ant was pleased with his fish LOL. He caught quite a few but that was the biggest one.
