The Manigault Vampires is a serialized, paranormal erotica series. It's a spin-off from The Witchery Series trilogy and contains many of the same Witches and Pagans you fell in love with from that series. A Vampire's Kiss is the first novel in this series. Here's what it's about...
"Sara Gadsden is a Wiccan Green Witch addicted to paranormal romance novels and their gorgeous vampire heroes. Like most people, she has no idea vampires actually exist until she meets Drayton Manigault at a Samhain party. Dray is not only one of Columbia's wealthiest businessmen, but he's also been a vampire for the last 145 years. Oh, and he's totally yummy. When Dray offers Sara a job working for his computer company, Manigault Technologies, fantasy collides with reality, and Sara's future is suddenly transformed into one wild, smokin' HOT ride!"
The Manigault Vampires:
A Vampire's Kiss
~ Volume 1 (Chapters 1-3)
~ Volume 2 (Chapters 4-6)

A Vampire's Kiss is being released in installments that can be downloaded from Laura Stamps' blog - Volume 1 (Chapters 1-3) & Volume 2 (Chapters 4-6) are available now and the other volumes will be available monthly continuing in May with Volume 3. Each volume is a very affordable $1.99 so it's a bit like a monthly magazine all about hot vampires - my kind of magazine LOL. For more information & to read the first chapter check out the blog.
Review:
I loved the first volume of this new serialised novel from Laura Stamps and let me just say volume 2 did not disappoint! In volume 1 we were introduced to Sara, a sassy green witch with absolutely no reservations about saying exactly what she is thinking, even if it does have a tendency to get her into trouble, and Dray a super hot vampire who finds Sara refreshing and different from anyone else he knows. While we still don't know a great deal about Dray I find him a facinating character - one that I can't wait to get to know better as I'm sure he has more than a few secrets up his sleeve!
Volume 1 left me on the edge of my seat and ended just before Sara managed to act out her fantasies with Dray - I'm very happy to say that in volume 2 we get to see a lot more action between them. The chemistry between them is absolutely Steaming with a capital S! They can't keep their hands off each other & I enjoyed going along for the ride. I'm really looking forward to finding out what happens between them next and although I love the idea of a serialised novel I have to confess I do think Laura is a little cruel making us wait before we can read more!! I'll be counting down the days until the release of volume 3 in May.

ReplyDeleteHi Lizzy, I'm really enjoying this series so far. Can't wait for the next installment but it is a little frustrating having to wait a month to be able to read the next 3 chapters LOL. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :o)
ReplyDeleteAwesome review, Sarah...thanks!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the second Volume. I always tell people that one is wall-to-wall sex. HAWT!! I can tell you in Volume 3 Sara is not quite finished with Dray or their date, insatiable Witch that she is. *lusty grin*
