I took part in the New Author Challenge hosted by Literary Escapism last year and was amazed to find I tried 104 new to me authors in 2010. I discovered some fantastic authors who I'll definitely be looking out for in the future but I'm hoping to discover even more new favorites in 2011. I'm going to aim to try 50 new authors in 2011 but I may end up changing that as I go along. I'll keep a list of all the new authors I try here along with links to my review of the first book I've read by them. You can read reviews from other participants here
