Books Purchased:
I tried to stick to my book buying ban but ended up purchasing 1 book - I suppose it could have been worse though LOL. I've heard so many great things about Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunters series & I had picked up book 3 a while ago when I saw it on sale. I won a giveaway this week which allowed me to pick any book from Book Depository so I ended up purchasing book 1 (Fantasy Lover) and choosing book 2 (Night Pleasures) as the giveaway prize.

Library Finds:
After completely filling up my library card last week I wasn't planning on getting any books out this week but then 4 of the books I had on reservation ended up coming in so I had to collect them. The ones I picked up this week were Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead, Dead if I Do by Tate Hallaway, Oceans of Fire by Christine Feehan and the On The Prowl anthology with Patricia Briggs, Karen Chance & Eileen Wilks. I've had to use my Dad's library card & now have a total of 16 library books waiting to be read so I think that is something I'm going to have to concentrate on doing this week LOL.
For Review:
I was really excited to receive a copy of Darkness Calls by Marjorie M. Liu this week, this is the second book in the Hunters Kiss series & I really enjoyed the first book The Iron Hunt which I reviewed a couple of weeks ago. I'd like to thank Orbit for sending me both of these books for review.
What was in your mailbox this week?
I have seen the books written by Tate Hallaway at the bookstore, they looked so awesome. Enjoy those books you got there.
ReplyDeleteWoah, nice picks! I haven't read ANY of those, but the covers all look pretty kick-ass. Happy reading! :D
ReplyDelete@ Nina - I'd definitely recommend Tate Hallaway's Garnet Lacey series if you're looking for a fun urban fantasy series :o) I've been waiting for ages for my turn to read this one (book 4) :o)
ReplyDelete@ Jenn - I love these covers, I'm definitely on a paranormal romance / urban fantasy kick at the moment :o)
Hope you both have a fab week!
