Teaser Tuesdays - Storm Born

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!  Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teasers:

Taken from Storm Born  by Richelle Mead

[Pg 48] "...What'd you name all those cats"  "Death, Famine, Pestilence, War, and Mr. Whiskers" "You named your cats after the riders of the apocal-wait.  Mr. Whiskers?" "Well, there are only four horsemen"

[Pg 97] "...would most likely only offer a brief flaring of hope, which would make our ultimate defeat that much more tragic."  "Stop with the maudlin crap, Nandi."  I wished they made ghost Prozac.

Don't forget to check out my author interview with Juliana Stone - she's giving away a copy of her new eBook Black Legacy to one of my readers.  Click here to enter the giveaway

  6. I love the teasers, especially the first one. It sounds like her books have quite a bit of humor in them along with the paranormal. I am planning to read Vampire Academy. I didn't know she wrote books for adults as well.

    Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  9. Glad you all like the teasers - as soon as I read the first one I knew I'd have to use it :o)

    Richelle Mead was a new author for me this year but she has quickly joined my favorite authors list! All of the books I've read so far have had humor but also great characters & good plots. I've not read the Vampire Academy books yet but they are definitely on my list
